I am Cindy Peters, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I have been a counselor for married couples for the past 15 years and have enjoyed working with husbands and wives immensely. I believe God created marriage for the beauty of love between a man and a woman and wants couples to experience the great joy that can happen when two people put God in the center of their lives as husband and wife. This doesn’t always happen, however, and I have seen many couples in deep despair because the joy and happiness they had hoped for aren’t coming to pass. Many wives and husbands feel very frustrated in their attempts to work things out on their own. That is why many people seek counseling, with a heartfelt need that hope can be restored.
